Torino

In May 2005 I visited Torino with my sister Kate and friend Annette. We only had 2 days there. We caught the train to Lake Maggiore one day, which was a beautiful place, but unfortunately we got caught in a storm. We met some lovely locals one night who showed us around.

In September, Andrew's brother Shane came to visit. We spent 4 days in Torino before going to Rome for 4 days, then had 2 more days in Torino before flying back to London. We stayed with a friend of Shane's, Lorenzo, who was a brilliant host. He took us to some lovely restaurants, drove us to the alps for a day and showed us the sights of Torino.

Lake Maggiore 17/5/2005 It was about a 2 hour train trip out to Lake Maggiore from Turin. When we got there it started to rain, and didn't stop for the whole afternoon we were there. It even stormed.
